Position Overview
We are seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to join our collaborative team. In this role, you will evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric conditions affecting gross motor development and overall mobility. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, passionate about working with children, and committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions that empower both patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to identify motor, strength, and mobility concerns.
- Establish individualized, functional goals and treatment plans based on clinical findings and family input.
- Deliver direct therapy services targeting gross motor function, balance, coordination, and overall mobility.
- Incorporate play-based activities and creative techniques to engage children in skill development.
- Communicate regularly with parents/caregivers regarding treatment goals, progress, and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with other disciplines (speech, occupational therapy) to develop holistic care plans.
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Adhere to all regulatory standards and professional ethics in the field of pediatric physical therapy.
- Stay current with the latest research, methodologies, and technology in pediatric physical therapy.
- Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and training opportunities.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current California PT license or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience in pediatrics (internship, clinical rotation, or professional) strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with play-based interventions is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially when working with children and families.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to maintaining a positive, child-friendly environment.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus (but not required).

- Flexible Pay Rates
- In-clinic and Telehealth sessions are paid at a competitive base rate.
- In-home therapy commands a higher pay rate to account for travel and additional time requirements.
- Optional In-Home Services
- Therapists are not required to offer in-home therapy. However, in-home opportunities are available for those interested in diversifying their caseload and increasing their earning potential.
