  • Coordinate with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other clinicians for a holistic approach to patient care.

Family Education & Interaction

  • Provide parents/caregivers with home exercise programs and practical strategies to reinforce therapy goals outside the clinic.
  • Offer empathetic support and clear explanations regarding each child’s progress.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Accurately record session data, progress notes, and updates in patient records.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, clinic policies, and professional standards.

Professional Development

  • Stay informed about best practices in pediatric physical therapy and participate in ongoing training opportunities.
  • Attend team meetings and collaborate on treatment planning for shared patients.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
  • Current Texas PTA license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Previous pediatric experience (clinical rotation, internship, or professional) preferred.
  • Comfortable with play-based and creative therapeutic approaches.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with children and families.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to see children succeed.

What We Offer:

  • A supportive, positive, and playful work environment.
  • Ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
  • Flexibility and work-life balance—we know you have a life outside the clinic.
  • Opportunities for growth within a thriving pediatric therapy setting.
  • A chance to be part of a local, mission-driven team that truly cares.
