Pediatric Therapy Scheduling Coordinator at Little Land & Recess Therapy

We are looking for a Pediatric Therapy Scheduling Coordinator to manage patient intake, scheduling and coordination for patients. In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination of schedule at two clinics. The position will work from our facility in Cedar Park, Texas. 

As a scheduling coordinator, you should demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to perform well in stressful situations. This position also requires knowledge of scheduling in a medical environment.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure steady workflows and uninterrupted service in our facility.

Responsibilities

• Manage the coordination of onboarding and scheduling for patients
• Coordinate with other team members for insurance verification, authorizations, etc.
• Be the primary point of contact for patients
• Coordinate reschedules and cancellations and enforce attendance policies
• Manage attendance logs for clinics to ensure patients are meeting minimum requirements
• Coordinate with front desk representatives

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Pediatric Therapy Scheduler, or similar
• Ability to handle medical records discreetly
• Knowledge of basic medical issues and terminology
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to multi-task and perform well in stressful situations
• Communication skills and a customer service orientation

Work schedule:

• Monday - Thursday: 9am to 6pm
• Friday: 9am to 3:30pm
